Historical company assembly made up of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, Rivarossa is inspired by the name of a cadastral particle of the company property. The characteristics of the loamy-clayey soil are suitable for the cultivation of the two red grape varieties. The harvest of the grapes is particular: they are de-stemmed and fermented separately. The maceration period and the vinification technique are decided according to the different phenolic conditions of the grapes themselves. Malolactic fermentation follows and aging in oak barrels for 14 months.
